01 / Reading guide

How these terms apply

These terms apply to guests, invitees, diners, casino patrons and people seeking entry to the physical Melbourne venue. They apply from the time you arrive, request entry, use a reservation, or take part in any venue service. Venue directions, displayed notices and reasonable staff instructions help maintain a safe and considered experience; they should be observed alongside these terms.

Where applicable requirements or an on-site notice address a particular circumstance, that requirement or notice applies with these terms. Please read the sections most relevant to your visit before travelling to the venue.

02 / Admission conditions

Entry, age and dress conditions

Strict 21+ house entry policy

Entry is restricted to guests aged 21 years or over. This condition applies throughout the venue, including dining and casino areas. Proof of age may be requested before or during entry. Where age cannot be satisfactorily verified, staff may respectfully refuse entry or limit access. A reservation, invitation or prior visit does not remove this requirement.

02.1

Dress and presentation

The venue maintains a strict dress code: Black Tie / Smart Elegant. Admission may depend on presentation being consistent with this house standard. Guests seeking practical preparation guidance should review the visitor information before arrival; dining and casino access are part of the same considered Pavilion environment.

02.2

Admission and venue discretion

Entry may be refused, or access limited, where safety, security, conduct, legal obligations, staff directions, age verification or venue standards require it. This discretion is exercised to support a safe, respectful setting for guests and personnel. A reservation or invitation is not a guarantee of admission where entry conditions have not been met.

03 / Casino conditions

On-premise casino conditions

On-premise gaming

All gaming takes place on-premise at the physical Southbank venue at 88 Southbank Boulevard, Southbank, Melbourne VIC 3006, Australia. It is not offered online, remotely or through virtual gaming services. Physical attendance and satisfaction of venue entry conditions are core conditions of participation.

Cash, chips and cashier cage

Guests wager using physical cash exchanged for genuine casino chips at the cashier cage, subject to venue procedures and applicable requirements. Casino chips are for approved on-premise casino play and are managed under venue procedures. This physical cash-and-chip environment is distinct from online or remote gambling, and no digital wagering facility is described or offered through these terms.

Hosted live table environment

Live table activity is conducted on the casino floor with professional croupiers and pit bosses. Guests must follow table rules and reasonable staff directions so seating, table access and play can be managed in an orderly manner. Live roulette, baccarat, blackjack and poker rooms are physical venue offerings; their availability is not promised at every time or for every guest.

Staff may manage seating, table access and conduct to preserve table integrity and the comfort of all guests.

04 / Hospitality arrangements

Dining reservations and guest arrangements

Dining reservations

A dining reservation is a request for hospitality service at the physical venue. It remains subject to availability, entry conditions and reasonable venue procedures. Dining operates from 12:00 PM – Late. A dining reservation is separate from casino admission and does not alter the age, dress or admission conditions that apply to the Pavilion.

Dining 12:00 PM – Late

Special requests and guest arrangements

Guests may make requests relating to dining, cellar, grill-room, VIP or concierge arrangements. Requests are not confirmed until accepted by the venue, which may need to consider timing, capacity, security and service conditions. Specific menus, rooms, packages and services remain subject to availability at the time they are considered.

Payment and venue charges

Guests are responsible for charges properly incurred for dining, beverages, approved services or arrangements made at the venue, subject to applicable requirements. Dining and hospitality payments are distinct from the physical cash and genuine casino chips used for approved on-premise casino play.

05 / House standards

Guest conduct, safety and property

Respectful conduct and staff directions

Guests must behave respectfully toward other guests and venue personnel, and comply with reasonable directions from authorised staff, including security, professional croupiers, pit bosses and hospitality staff. These expectations support safety, dignity, orderly service and table integrity across the dining and casino environment. Staff may guide guests where conduct or circumstances affect the experience of others.

Safety, security and restricted access

The venue may apply safety, security and access-control measures appropriate to a luxury dining and casino environment. Guests must not enter restricted areas without authorisation and should follow staff directions where a safety or security concern arises. These measures are intended to maintain a calm, secure setting rather than to detract from hospitality.

Personal property and belongings

Guests should keep personal belongings secure and promptly report concerns to staff. To the extent permitted by law, the venue is not responsible for loss of, or damage to, personal property, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded. This statement does not limit rights that applicable law preserves.

06 / Care and compliance

Responsible gambling and regulatory context

Responsible gambling commitment

Casino participation is intended for eligible guests who choose to play responsibly. If gambling is causing concern, guests should pause and seek support. The venue recognises that informed, considered participation is essential to a safe on-premise environment. Further venue information is available through the dedicated responsible gambling page.

VGCCC compliance notice

The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) compliance notice forms part of the venue’s regulatory context. This reference acknowledges the applicable Victorian framework and is not a statement of endorsement, licence particulars or regulatory findings.
